Girl Scouts Celebrate 100th Anniversary
Mayor John Spodofora presented a proclamation to the local Girl Scouts at the Stafford Township council meeting of March 6, 2012. The proclamation is in honor of 100 years of service to Ocean County by the Girl Scouts of America. The Mayor congratulated the girls and thanked them for their service too Stafford Township. “Our local Girl Scouts are responsible for many of the wonderful things that have happened in our parks and historic sites throughout the community and through their efforts the township has been enriched”. The Mayor also acknowledged the unsung heroes’ in all of this and that is the dedicated parents that support and assist their girls in these efforts.
