REQUEST FOR FORMAL QUOTE PROPOSALS
ANNUAL GENERATOR MAINTENANCE PROGRAM SERVICES
RFQ # 2012 - 022
The Township of Stafford is requesting formal quote proposals for the following:
Annual Generator Maintenance Program Services
The Township of Stafford, New Jersey shall receive sealed quotes at the Municipal Building, 260 East Bay Avenue, Manahawkin, New Jersey 08050 until 2:00 PM prevailing time, Thursday, March 15, 2012 and then publicly opened and thereafter read aloud in the Council Meeting Room of the Stafford Township Municipal Building for the furnishing of Annual Generator Maintenance Program Services.
It is understood by the vendor that this request is submitted on the basis of specifications prepared by the Township and the fact that any vendor is unfamiliar with any aspect of said specifications will not be accepted as an excuse for non-compliance.
The only binding obligation of the Township is a purchase order signed by the Purchasing Agent, in effect, certifying that funds are available in the municipal budget to purchase any item covered by the contract.
Pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A:11-6.1, proposals may be awarded in whole or in part, by item or category. Prices will be binding and in effect from April 15, 2012 – April 14, 2014.
Sales to Stafford Township are exempt from taxation either state or municipal and also from federal taxation, including excise tax.
The Township of Stafford does not pay late fees.
No pre-payment clauses of any nature will be acceptable.
Bills must be submitted on a monthly basis to the Purchasing Agent for payment and invoiced and separated by department and license plate numbers.
Each proposal must be enclosed ina sealed envelope, bearing the name and address of the vendor, and must be addressed to theTownship of Stafford Purchasing Department, to the attention of Nicola Reid. Interested vendors are advised that the township does no have responsibility for the delivery of U.S. mail, or any other private mail carrier. Proposal must contain completed Affirmative Action Form and a NJ Business Registration Certificate. Proposal will not be considered if the Business Registration Certificate is not included with your proposal.
