Stafford Township Department of Public Works seeks
- Stafford Township Public Works has applied to the American Public works Association (APWA) for accreditation. In order to become accredited, there are over 500 policies, practices, and procedures that must be reviewed, updated, or established. Once accredited, the township will be eligible for reduced rates for liability insurance.
- Currently there are no Public Works departments that are accredited in New Jersey. Stafford Township is the first to apply.
- We are currently in the self-assessment stage and the goal is to become the first agency to receive accreditation in New Jersey by the end of 2011.
