Motor Vehicle Accident with DWI
On Monday July 25, 2011 at 4:35 pm Stafford Township Police responded to a one vehicle accident on the westbound lanes of the Route 72 Causeway Bridge. Investigation at the scene determined that the driver of the vehicle Alexander Lobozzo 23, Glen Ridge, NJ was "huffing" inhaling compressed gas, specifically a spray duster, used to blow the dust off of computer keyboards and lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the side of the bridge. There were no injuries reported.
Lobozzo was arrested and transported to Stafford Township Police Headquarters where he was charged with DWI, reckless driving and failure to maintain his lane of travel. Lobozzo was released pending a future court appearance in Stafford Township.
The arresting officer was Ptl. Michael Morrin.
