Motor Vehicle Accident
On June 23, 2011 at 1114 am Stafford Police responded to a motor vehicle crash just north of Silo Road. The first vehicle traveling north on Route 9 operated by Anthony J Orlando Jr, 64 of Barnegat. The second vehicle traveling south on Route 9 operated by Steven Concannon, 50 of Manahawkin. Concannon's vehicle drifted over the center-line and sideswiped Orlando's vehicle. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage from the impact. Concannon sustained moderate injuries, two juvenile passengers sustained minor injuries. All three were transported to Southern Ocean County Medical Center for treatment by Stafford EMS.
Orlando sustained minor injury and refused medical treatment.
