CDS Arrest
On Saturday July 30, 2011 at 11:15 p.m. Stafford Township Police responded to the Wawa convenience store located at Route 72 and Mermaid Drive in regard to a suspicous vehicle in the parking lot. Police stopped the suspected vehicle as it attempted to flee the parking lot area.
Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of the vehicle's driver identified as Michael R. Alaimo, 23 of Ocean Acres for possession of CDS (Roxicodone) and possession of a hypodermic needle. Mr. Alaimo was transported to Stafford Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released on a summons. This matter is pending a Grand Jury hearing in Ocean County Superior Court.
Ptl. Drew Smith was the arresting officer.
