Armed Robbery Arrest
On Saturday June 25 2011 Patrolman Robert Conforti took a report of a robbery that occurred at the light house park. The victim reported that he was held up at gun point, pistol whipped and had $50 taken from him.
On Tuesday June 28, 2011 after gathering intelligence and receiving information about the incident, Det. Neil McKenna gained suspect information about the armed robbery. Jason Eby, a Stafford Township resident and Josh Drake-Parmigiano, of Barnegat Twp, were placed under arrest and charged with robbery by threating the immediate use of a deadly weapon, a first degree crime in the state.
A $75,000 bail was placed against Josh Drake-Parmigiano and a $25,000 bail was placed on Jason Eby. During the course of the investigation a Jessica Rasoilo, an aquaintance of Parmigiano was charged with hindering apprehension of another. Both Eby and Drake-Parmigiano were transported to the Ocean County Jail in lieu of their bail and Jessica Rasoilo was released on a criminal complaint summons pending a future appearence in court.
Assisting in the investigation were the Barnegat Twp Detective Bureau and the Stafford Twp Drug Enforcement Unit
Det. Neil McKenna was the arresting officer.
