We are pleased to announce the return of our acclaimed Citizens Police Academy! The course will run for 7 weeks starting 10/3/16 and concluding 11/14/16 (*Note there will be no class on Halloween 10/31/16). Students will meet once a week on Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

Classes will be held at the Stafford Township Municipal Complex at 260 East Bay Avenue, Manahawkin, NJ. Students from ages 16 and up will become familiarized with all aspects of our police department including our Patrol Division, Traffic Unit, Detective Bureau, Emergency Management, SWAT, K9, and Community Policing.

Students must attend all sessions and complete a background check. This course is held to provide residents with a better understanding and comprehension of their local Law Enforcement agency as well as provide insight to those younger students who have an interest in a career in law enforcement.
